We will assist the American Red Cross place wreaths on the graves of the 82 unclaimed WWI veterans.  More info to follow.

The American Red Cross WNY Chapter annually performs a Wreaths Across America ceremony at the Riverdale Cemetery at 5605 Old Lewis Rd, Lewiston, NY. On December 14 at noon at the Red Cross Memorial (western side of the cemetery), we will place wreaths at the graves of the 82 unclaimed WWI veterans laid to rest at Riverdale and sponsored by the American Red Cross.   This way, we honor the sacrifice of military veterans who lost their lives during World War I.  The gravesites surrounding an American Red Cross monument were purchased by the former Niagara Falls Chapter for unclaimed veterans of World War I in January 1919.
